Information we collect
Editor submissions may include name, email, location or timezone, portfolio URL, editing fit, software, rate range, availability, and notes. Hiring submissions may include name, work email, company or channel, role type, budget, timeline, location, content format, and project brief.
Source and analytics fields
Forms also capture page URL, page path, page title, referrer, user agent, and UTM parameters so we can understand which communities and pages produce useful submissions. Campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and ref may be stored in browser local storage so the original source is preserved if someone visits a guide before submitting a form.
Browser draft storage
The intake forms, portfolio checklist, and brief builder may save an unfinished draft in your browser local storage so long notes, portfolios, and hiring briefs are not lost if you refresh the page or move from a tool into an intake form. Drafts stay on your device and are cleared after a successful connected form submission. Source attribution stored in local storage is used only to keep community and campaign tracking attached to the eventual submission.
How we use submissions
We use submissions to review editor interest, review hiring requests, contact people about relevant opportunities, improve the intake process, and understand early community demand.
Where submissions are stored
The initial version is designed to store submissions in a private Google Sheet controlled by the site operator. If the endpoint is not configured, the form opens an email draft so the sender can choose whether to send the details.
